Coming out of this read, it feels like a setup for joke (hence my first sentance above). I don't even have words for this book lmao. I went in having zero expectations. I had forgotten what it was even about and didn't bother reading the blurb before diving. Boy was I surprised! Everything about this book captured and held my attention. This was right on track with my sense of humor. I'd never laughed so much while reading a book🤣
And the ending had me literally yelling "WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!?!"

Too many characters and pov’s. The main character wasn’t likable enough to continue. Felt like a book written by a high schooler with lots of sex and “realistically amusing” characters and dumb ideas and annoying pranks and backstabbing and scheming and cheating and just trying too hard

So, the trope where the main character has to repeat the same day over and over until they get it right is one of my favorites so it was a no brainer for me to start this book.
This book was hilarious. At first when I was reading about all the kids vaping and the teacher not caring, I saw in teeny tiny print on the cover “a satire.” This made me love the book even more. I listened to it without headphones while on vacation with my daughter. We just kept laughing. Throughout the vacation we would end up saying lines from the book.
Do I know the how or why they were stuck repeating? Nope. Do I care? Nope. I recommend this to anyone.

This book is hilarious. It's the perfect combination of Palm Springs (2020) and the absolute ridiculousness of Tucker & Dale vs. Evil (2010).
I loved the concept of what brought them into the time loop, as well as how long people have been in the time loop. Blew my mind.
The characters were hilarious and yes, one of the was over the top... but at the end he was loyal to core. I'm just going to have that song stuck in my head forever.
You should probably read the CW/TW. and if you get passed those and love time loops like me.. you will really enjoy this book.

Once I started reading, I could not put this book down it is such an insane ride. Absurdly hilarious while also being dark, and a heart warming (ish) story underneath.
