Such a beautifully sad book. I don't want to say too much about the plot, lest I give too much away, but it is the story of choices and happiness and betrayal. A brief but lovely book that will stay with me a very long time.

I enjoyed the style most of all in this book. Admittedly I was expecting something a little more quaint, more of a village story sort of vibe. And while those elements are present, the tone is actually quite dark and the story quite tragic. A slim volume with lots of emotional punch.

Nie mam po drodze z kulturą francuską. Jest niewiele takich dzieł, które odebrałam w pełni pozytywnie i które dobrze wspominam. "Lista..." chyba właśnie znalazła się na mojej liście dobrych publikacji.
Myślę, że zarówno najmocniejszą, jak i najsłabszą stroną jest tu główna bohaterka. Na początku zupełnie nie mogłam się z nią utożsamić, miałam wrażenie, jakby powstała zupełnie z powietrza i była pusta w środku. To była najtrudniejsza część książki do przebrnięcia. Jednak im dalej w historię, tym bardziej zaczynałam ją rozumieć. Sposób, w jaki myślała o miłości, bezpieczeństwie i przywiązaniu do głębi mnie poruszył, bo odzwierciedlał moje własne przemyślenia, a przy tym sprawiał wrażenie maksymalnie realistycznego.
To książka, która przez tę część filozoficzną najpewniej na długo we mnie zostanie. Natomiast, jeżeli chodzi o część fabularną, nie wywarła na mnie żadnego wrażenia. Przeszłam obok zupełnie obojętna i jeśli zamierzacie to czytać dla historii, na rynku jest wiele znacznie bardziej angażujących czytelnika lektur.
