Just the thing when I was getting over the flu. Better than the last few in the series, but nothing spectacular.
I'm glad that I've continued with the Undead books. Undead and Unwelcome was such an easy and entertaining read. It's just what I've been needing lately.
Sad to say, MaryJanice Davidson should've ended the series at book 6. The last one was a complete departure from the light and breezy tone of the previous books, and this one was just *awful*. It really seemed like she was just fulfilling a contractual obligation for another book (which, she might have been). Do yourself a favor and re-read the earlier books or check out her fantastic YA Jennifer Scales series co-written with her husband, Anthony Alongi.
It's been quite a while since I read the previous book in this series (9 years). Were they all this bad? I'm wondering if my reading tastes have changed dramatically or if this book was just horrible.
This book basically had no plot until the last few pages where you learn a few key things about different characters. And that's it. Literally nothing else happened. I don't think I have any more books in this series and I won't actively look for them.

Another quick read in this series.
I'm really intrigued by BabyJon and what looks like his supernatural abilities. I can't wait to see where this goes.
I know that Laura is supposed to play a role in the story, but I'm quickly losing interest in her.
Overall, this was a decent read and I can't wait to start the next book in the series.

started this out of order, so took a quick break to catch up on the rest of the series before continuing this book.
