It’s been a while since I’ve read Pam’s work, and the one thing that has changed is that her weighting has gotten so much better. I mean, The Hills of Shivers and Shadows leaves you raw, exposed, needing comfort and a drink. There is so much in this book to unpack, then re-pack every thing again. From the very start of this book I was hooked. I couldn’t put this book down at all. Frankie is strong willed and absolutely amazing. She a force to be reckoned with and nothing will stand in her way-except the cold, that does stand in her way. Through out the whole book, you see her grow to be even stronger. She is fiercely protective and will do anything to save the men she loves.
This series is going to be so good. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. Pam has written a book that will leave you needing more.

Wow! When I saw the blurb for this book, I knew it was a bit of me, and it did not disappoint!! Not on any level!
This is my first Pam Godwin read, but she has been on my radar for a while as a writer of dark, taboo romance, and this book has undoubtedly made her an auto-buy author for me.
Pam has written some wonderfully intricate and complex characters here. Frankie is such a strong FMC, she’s determined, kind and compassionate. She’s caged in the tundra with four feral men, all of whom have their own demons. These men (except 1) have me in a chokehold! Their development and character definition is flawless!
The plot packs a punch and when I tell you it didn’t feel like a 700+ page book, I mean it. The story is exciting, gritty & intense. It gripped me over two days, and I could not put it down. I had to know what was going to happen next, though I didn’t see any of it coming!
The spice was delicious! It wasn’t there needlessly, it was appropriate to the storyline and was infused with so much emotion and healing, I could feel it vibrating off the page! It is a sexy, tense RH. I think I went through every possible emotion reading this!
I have thought about the ending of this book every day since I finished it. I am so, so stressed and invested, but I just do not know where this story is going to go!

genuinely one of the most insane plots ever, so good though. I felt so incredibly disgusted the more I learned about Denver and it was so much worse because I went into it think he was one of the fmcs love interests. I keep hoping the end isn’t as it appears but i’m devastated
