Ohhh, baby! I loved Linc and Faye! I felt their chemistry was explosive and unavoidable! Those two were destined for one another. I absolutely love the Foxx family dynamic. Griz, Ace and Grant, all of them play significant roles in each others lives. oh my gosh, those Foxx girls! Lark and Lily they are the best. Honestly, these books are such a great listen. Linc and Faye's chemistry sucks you in and you are hooked. Their story you do not want to put down, their banter and their push pull is hot! I really loved this one!

I am looking forward to more books that she will be in. this audiobook was a ten out of ten! highly recommend..

Bourbon and Secrets was such a fun and emotional read. It has small-town vibes, a steamy romance, layered characters, and just the right amount of suspense. Faye Calloway left town five years ago to protect her family, and now she’s back in Fiasco for work and to help her sister. Lincoln, who’s now a single dad to two girls (Lark and Lily), never expected to see her again. Now that they are face to face, the tension is thick, the hate-to-love vibes are strong, and the chemistry is sizzling. Lincoln tries hard to hate Faye, but he can't resist the magnetic pull between them.
Faye and Lincoln were so hot together! I loved the development of their relationship, and how they learned to trust each other again. Their journey is super steamy, but there are also some heartwarming moments with Lincoln and his daughters. I also loved their relationship with Faye. Lark and Lily are so funny, and every scene they were in made me love this story even more. I also enjoyed the bourbon-making details, side characters, secrets, and the dose of suspense. I'm excited to read what comes next for the folks in Fiasco, KY.

One fateful night Lincoln and Faye both end up keeping each other's secrets. After being away from Fiasco, KY, Faye is back as a burlesque dancer while keeping more secrets. Lincoln doesn’t want Faye near him or his daughters but he can’t fight the pull he feels toward her.
Gah! I love going to Fiasco. These Foxx Bourbon boys really have a way of bringing spice and possessiveness. Lincoln is broody and protective (actually all the Foxx men are) but he comes with glasses and is willing to be a “good boy” for Faye 🥵Then Faye shows back up with all her sass and determination and the perfect amount of confidence with her body and how to use it.
Lee Samuels and Megan Wick were rockstars in this story. There has to be a certain amount of southern to really get a Kentucky feel. Their voices were smooth and rich and the perfect combination.
Mmmmmm single dad and bourbon. Two of my favorite things. And Daddy Foxx was particularly delicious.
Faye Calloway was run out of town by Lincoln Foxx, but five years later, she’s back and taking center stage as a burlesque dancer. But not all is as it seems in this romantic suspense. Faye has a job to do, but Daddy Lincoln is proving to be quite the distraction.
First off, I absolutely love Lincoln and his two daughters, Lark and Lily. He’s a loving, protective dad who is wrapped around the fingers of both of those little girls. Hell, they have the whole town wrapped - Faye included.
There’s a magnetism between Lincoln and Faye that keeps pulling them back to each other. And when the banter and tension finally ignite into a fiery passion that burns between them…🫠🫠🫠. I just love me some bourbon boys…and bourbon play. 😉
🎧: This duet narration was so very good. Megan’s deep, sultry voice was absolute perfection for Faye, and Lee was amazing as swoony Daddy Lincoln. They brought these characters to life.

The first book of this series was a five star read for me, and while I still very much enjoyed this one, I didn’t like it as much as I liked the first one.
The main couple in this one didn’t work for me as well as the main couple did in the first book. But what worked for me was the relationship the FMC had with the MMC’s daughters. The rapport and understanding she built with those two girls, both made her more likable, and his relationship with them made him more likable because we got to see the life he had cultivated with his daughters and how much he loved them.
Overall, I’m still happy with the series and honestly, I am so excited for the next couple.

I don't care about that one rule in Fiasco, Kentucky because I fell for a Foxx brother and I have zero regrets.

Lincoln and Faye may have had a rocky start, especially when he ran her out of town after a devastating night for her, but he sure made up for the pain he caused her tenfold. These two were scorching hot. My ears were on fire in the best way!
Lee Samuels and Megan Wicks were incredible as Lincoln & Faye. They did such a fantastic job with the emotions, the suspense and oh my the spice. Just brilliant. I was so engrossed in their storytelling that I got to the end way before I was prepared.

Bourbon and Secrets is a romantic suspense full of mystery, secrets and twists and turns. Faye and Lincoln brought the banter, the tension and all of the heat. I could not get enough of these two. Add in Lincoln’s two precocious girls and protective family, it’s impossible not to fall in love with these characters and be intrigued by the story.
Megan Wicks and Lee Samuels perform this book in duet narration. Megan portrayed Faye’s sassy and protective nature perfectly. Lee does a great job of portraying the protective single dad Lincoln. These two perfectly fit these characters and brought the to life from the page to your ears.

I’M SO OBSESSED WITH THIS SERIES!
The way Victoria weaves the threads of her stories together is super appealing to me and then she hits you with an unexpected plot twist and I’m even more obsessed!
Just as with Bourbon & Lies, we get an immediate flashback of events that happened involving Lincoln Foxx that sets the stage for his and Faye Calloway’s before jumping forward to the present.
Victoria gives us another strong heroine insistent in protecting those she loves regardless of what she has to give up in the process and this is another aspect of her stories I love! We still get a spicy HEA with a hot book boyfriend but it comes with a bada$$ heroine versus the damsel in distress that needs rescuing.
A highlight of this story was getting to know more about Lincoln’s kiddos, Lark and Lilly! They are an adorable hoot and added some amazing lighthearted and endearing moments amongst all the characters. The nod to “A League of Their Own” was a special one for me and I loved the addition of that little nugget.
This narration was flawless!! As a first-time Megan Wicks listener I can tell you she could not have been more perfectly cast to play Faye. Her voice was sultry perfection - ideal for portraying the sexy and mysterious burlesque dancer.
It’s been a minute since I’ve listened to Lee Samuels and dang if he wasn’t the perfect sexy single dad as Lincoln! He has a wonderfully natural deep timbre that never sounds forced or overdone. To me his voice sounds commanding, soothing and safe.
Bourbon & Secrets joins its predecessor as a 2025 Top Audiobook pick for me and I highly recommend! NOW I’M BEGGING YOU, GIVE ME A HADLEY AND ACE AUDIO TEASER TO TIDE ME OVER! 🙏
