didnt enjoy this book as much as i thought i would . but i liked it nonetheless. it got a 3 star rating because it wasnt amazing and it took me a while to finish because it wasnr a priority book and i forgot about it for a while . BUT IT WAS A GOOD BOOK. i did prefer praise though
So yeah, damn. It was definitely hot. And I liked it, but there were some things I didn’t like.
I’ll start out with the positive and then give my random complaints that really aren’t a big deal after lol
So yes, I did like it. I didn’t wanna put it down until I finished! Garrett was… WHEWWWW

“Truly possessing another person is a privilege.”
I'm not gonna lie, this book had me screaming at my device and at Garrett, because like dude, come on, come clean already. You know, she's going to find out sooner or later, so just come clean. The reason for this is that Garrett finds out Mia, his stepsister, is a cam girl, and he starts talking to her using a fake name. Only this fake name belongs to someone who works with him at the club.
I really love how sex-positive this story is. And not even sex-positive, more like sex workers-positive. The author takes the time to show us readers that it is okay to be a sex worker. There's no shame in it, work is work.
I really enjoyed how open Amy was about her sexuality. Even with her being a virgin, she was not afraid of taking what she wanted. I also loved Garrett's journey and how his desires changed and how this helped him heal and come to terms with having to get professional help.
I love their back-and-forth in banter. And I am really happy that this dynamic didn't end when they became something more serious.
I think Heather Costa and Jeffrey Kafer were the perfect casting for this story and I really enjoyed their narration.
Quote: “It’s not a weakness, Garrett. And I didn’t see the mess because I love the mess. I love you for the good and the bad. Plus, I have messes too.”
