didn’t love this… cam girl + step bro just feels wrong
I always manage to read Sara Cate's books in one sitting because I can't stop! Garrett was so great, loved him so much and Mia was also so lovely and refreshing!
Eyes on Me is book 2 in the Salacious Players Club series and CAN be read as a standalone. However, this is an interconnected series so characters from previous books will show up throughout the series. If you don’t want spoilers from certain couples, then you should read them in order.
WELL. This is a spicy little number. Eyes on Me packs a lot into a small amount of pages. This is an age gap, forbidden romance between stepsiblings. Some may wonder: did they grow up together? Kind of but not really? Garett is 13 years older than Mia and she was 8 or 13 (sorry I can’t remember) when their parents married so they technically didn’t grow up together because he was out of the house by that time. BUT she still saw him as her big brother so that aspect of the forbidden is there. If you don’t like that kind of thing then you should probably skip this one!
Anyway, aside from the stepsibling/age gap trope this is a spicy series and Eyes on Me features some voyeurism/exhibitionists and sex work in the form of being a cam girl. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book where the FMC is a cam girl, so I found this to be fascinating! And it really added to the anticipation of how Garett and Mia’s story would play out especially considering his kink is watching. It’s just a lot of fun and I don’t want to go into too much detail, but I love how Sara Cate makes the kinks in her books seem normal and empowering.

I feel like I shouldn’t love these books but I absolutely do. Mia and Garrett were not what I was expecting but this book was so much fun.
