I binged all three Frat Wars books in a little less than five days. I absolutely recommend all of them (and read them in order, I think you'll regret it if you don't!). These books are fun and spicy and sweet; not as douchy as they look (although they're not NOT douchy either, lol). I love getting to see the main characters in other books, and each book ends with a (slight spoiler, no specifics)
chapter taking place at their reunion. I love how these three chapters piece together across the books and the reader gets to learn about what each couple is up to in the future.
.

Some of my favorite (no spoiler) things about King of Thieves, specifically:
  • Chad & Bailey's dynamic is *chef's kiss*. Sass is their love language, I'm convinced. The slight forbidden nature of their relationship makes it all the better & I love how they grow together and overcome the obstacles facing their relationship. Also, their rivalry doesn't go away when they hook up, nor when they start to date. If anything, the rivalry gets MORE competitive & it's all in good fun.
  • I love all the interactions with Bailey's family. They're great -- super supportive, kind, and playful. I love them teasing Bailey about Chad. One of my favorite lines in the whole series is when Bailey tells his mom and sister, "And I'd prefer not to discuss my sex life with my family, but looks like we're all up for disappointment today"
  • No homophobia here! It's great to read a book in such a hyper-masculine setting like frat houses and have all the brothers be supportive & kind when characters come out.

representation: MLM, bi MC, gay MC, side gay and bi characters
POV: dual first person
tropes: forbidden romance, rivals to lovers, sports!queer, pranks, sass as love, rich x poor, secret relationship

this book was highly entraining and I did not want to put it down. This was a great way to start the series and I really enjoyed it. If you are interested in reading about a bunch of frat guys falling in love and finding a happily ever after, then go ahead and check this series out.

THIS. This is what I have needed in such a long time. I picked this up on a wimp and god I have never been so happy that I did. I absolutely loved Bailey and Chad like they were the most perfect couple. I loved the pranks and side characters. I’m really excited for Robbie and Brandon and Zeke and Charles like you have no idea.
