The zombie part just really made this unsexy for me. Good book but just not the setting for me.

This was entertaining for zombie smut (also Dan best boy hands down)

Didn't love the audio version as much as the book

Allie the 32 year old 'girl next door' who finds herself rescued by two awesome men!
Dan the 41 year old easy going mechanic/engineer who can see the big picture.
Finn the 26 year old cop who likes to be in control in bed.

It's the zombie apocalypse, and no, as usual, we don't know what brought it on. But Allie survives by hiding out in an attic until she meets Dan. At first, she is pretty resistant and scared because she has a history of bad boyfriends and she's seen some scummy stuff since the world went to hell in a hand basket. But Dan is bowled over by her from the first glance. It was really quite charming.
Then just a couple days later (but really about a third in) Finn joins them by helping them out of a very dangerous situation, and Dan sees the big picture. He knows that they need Finn's expertise to help keep Allie safe and he also knows that Finn desires Allie too.
Sooo even though both men are rather territorial, and Allie isn't normally 'that kind of girl', strang days call for strange relationships. And one thing leads to another.

It's a pretty action-packed read and although not overly violent it still gets pretty darn gross from time to time. Not for the faint-hearted (and I had to skim over parts which isn't easy in audio!)
There is one especially explicitly gross part about halfway in. (ick!)

I loved the characters and really enjoyed this, but I don't' plan to read the next book.

The audio readers were fantastic!
Safety is good relationship-wise, but not so good violence-wise.
SpoilerDan was married and divorced years ago and has not had a serious relationship since. Finn just does ONSs so relationships are rather new to him. He does flirt with another girl but didn't mean to hurt Allie with it and understands when she spells it out for him. (His apology was delicious!) Allie has had shitty boyfriends in the past and was currently taking a break from men when the zombies apocalypse happened.

One of my favorite zombie romances that I continue to reread
