There will be SPOILERS in this review!
Well, it all begins here. The Shibuya incident. I know it officially started already in the previous volume but still, now we actually get to Shibuya and itās so good.
But anyway, first we have to talk about Mechamaruās fight with Mahito. Itās fine and entertaining and all but nothing that special. My favorite thing about it was definitely getting to know Mechamaru better. I love how he just wanted to go back to his friends from Kyoto school and how he keeps thinking of Miwa and how she promised sheāll come visit him to get to know him better. And then he is completely obliterated by Mahito so yeah. Just great.
And then we have Gojo fighting those curses. Bro just walks on peopleās heads like itās nothing and then kills Hanami almost instantly. I mean, I liked it. There is just something about Gojo when he looks a bit insane, smiling as he pulls out Hanamiās branches or something. Just great. I mean, if Mahito didnāt come right when he did, Jogo would probably die as well. And Choso too not long after that which would be very much devastating.
I also have to talk about Yuji and his fight with the Grasshopper curse. Itās hilarious. Probably the funniest scene in the entire Shibuya incident. I mean, the curse keeps boasting about how smart it is and is like āI bet youāre really dumbā to Yuji and āyou have no idea which curse I amā to which Yuji is like āgrasshopper, right?ā and the curse completely mind-blown by the level of Yujiās intelligence. Mind you, Yuji isnāt even that smart. Now what does that make the grasshopper?
Anyway, a very entertaining volume with a touch of comedy for an otherwise very grim and traumatic arc. Iām giving it 4 stars since it is good, but definitely not as great as the moments to come.

4 stars - It was really good
This volume is the start of the Shibuya incident which is a ploy by Geto to trap Gojo. We see the sorcerers grouped up into teams around Shibuya station as backup, while Gojo, Mei Mei, and Yuji are in the station fighting to take down the barrier and stop Geto, Hanami, Jogo, Choso, and Mahito. So far we see Gojo taking on Hanami, Jogo, and Choso and he is really wiping the floor with those three. I am very interested in seeing how this battle plays out and if this trap is going to work to capture Gojo.
