A handsome end to my favourite fantasy series.

The book did feel disjointed at times due to the vast amount of "history" to be covered, so it did not feel like the personal, emotional moments were dwelled upon as much as I would've liked.

While Temeraire is undoubtedly the best of the books, this is a satisfactory conclusion.

Honestly would have liked a bit more of an epilogue from what was the final instalment in a 9 book series but I feel that way about all of the novik books I've read
