Life is pain, life is scars, life is fear. Life is also love, family, joy, and bravery.
You cannot live in the past. I had a full life in the forest.
The forest brought me to Eden, and she brought me home to you.
An insta-love story between two human. One who’s heart belong to the jungle and the other to photography. What happens when they meet?
At the age of three. Throne and his parents got into a plane crash which leads to their pilot dying. Unfortunately, few weeks later, they got ambushed by gold diggers criminals and killed. One of them decide to “spare” T bcz he is a baby.
Eden is a photographer is when she goes on an adventure to Africa to take pictures, she also gets ambushed by gold diggers criminals. As she was about to get shot, Throne comes and saves her.
Throne is mesmerized by her. By being the only human was hard on him and seeing her, same as him and beautiful was a shock to him.
As for Eden, she also gets starstruck at how attractive was and was conflicted on getting attached to him:
Thorne Haywood, Lord of the Jungle, was a fairytale prince.
Eden was worried she might—no, definitely would—fall in love with him.
As they get to spend time together, Eden gets to learn more about T’s parents dead and also make him meet his family back “home”.
We also get to see some conflicts and romance/smut.
Surprisingly the way the author wrote Thorne is kinda endearing. Because normally I would have taught that the author would write him as completely primal but in this book, we see tenderness towards Eden and also a virgin who can make a woman orgasm. He understands her body language and also knows consent without the need of her explaining whatsoever:
“You are my future, my mate, my destiny. My everything.”
The only thing I don’t like is that they named their baby Jane…. Like it could be anything but that…..
PS: btw this story reminds me of the live action of Tarzan.

Love in the Wild was such a fantastic story and I honestly couldn't put this one down and just swept through this story so easily. I read this partly audiobook and partly ebook. Either way is a wonderful format in reading this book. I have had this book on my TBR for over a year and I am not sure what took me so long to read it, but I absolutely LOVED this book. I do something get nervous in reading new authors and as I had never read this author before I wasn't sure how I would take to her writing. But I have to say that I absolutely adored this book in every way. It turned out to be such a win for me in so many ways. I was so drawn into the retelling of Tarzan. The author puts her own twist on it, but she does follow the tale of Tarzan pretty closely. I love the connection between the two characters, and even though it had a more insta love feel to it, the author really made it work in this one. I was so fascinated to see where the author would take this story and how she would develop the romance. I will say that this author definitely knows how to work through my emotions in such a captivating way. I was so drawn into both of these characters and seeing them fall in love with each other, the family units of the gorilla's that raised Thorn was so endearing. There is such strong character growth that is implemented within this story and the way that our pair find their way to their HEA was so stunning and I was on board all the way through and couldn't put this treasure down.
Overall I found Love in the Wild to be a stunning gem of a read that focused so beautifully on real emotion and the true power of love!

I enjoyed this one a lot it's basically a contemporary retelling of the Tarzan legend that was suspenseful and thrilling with a big dash of mysticism running right through it.
Eden Matthews a photographer for National Park Magazine is deep in the national forest in Uganda with a tour group to take photos of mountain gorillas in there natural habitat.
After a run-in with some hired treasure hunters shes the only one left alive saved from death by a mysterious wild man.
Thorne has grown up in the jungle adopted and then raised by gorillas after the murder of his parents he only has very early memories of life before the jungle.
When he meets Eden, Thorne is instantly drawn to her and she to him and as they grow closer and give in to there mutual attraction a deep unbreakable bond is formed between the two of them.
So there really was so much here to like, I really appreciated how all the animals are portrayed and just how their intelligence is showcased to the max, this did bring them to life on the page so vividly
I also loved the suspense and the mystery and I thought Thorne was just so bloody adorable in his wide-eyes confusion but at the same time, he was still all-male.
I'm not altogether sure about all the mysticism stuff that was my least favourite bit of this but it was an interesting and intriguing addition.
My favourite part of this was definitely the first half when we were in the jungle itself.
But there was also plenty going on throughout that captured my attention and kept me invested.
Overall this was a very worthwhile experience, it was well written and managed to keep my interest easily with its colourful narrative.
Yes, it was slightly far-fetched at times especially in regards to all the mystic goings-on but I still really enjoyed myself.
If your partial to your fairy-tale retellings and like your romance sweet and heartwarming this one is for you and is one that I do recommend.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Love In The Wild.
