Simplemente WOW. Me encantó y me mantuvo enganchada desde que empecé a leerlo. En ningún momento abandoné la velocidad de la lectura, ya el primer día me había leído unas 100 páginas y me sorprendí por ello.
Tengo que decir que amé con todo mi corazón a los personajes, aunque Raisa(la princesa heredera)me ponía muy nerviosa; pero he de decir que es una mujer con carácter y que no se deja manipular por nadie.
No veo la hora de poder empezar el segundo libro.

I found this book to be really well written. There is a complex storyline but the writing is easily digestible, so that it appears effortless, and the readers consumes the pages! This book is a great pick for fans of high fantasy!
The story is told from the viewpoint of two very different characters, one is a princess, born into privilege, and the other is a former streetlord, barely having enough food to get by without being tempted by thievery. Our protagonist have something in common. Each seem to keep getting themselves into trouble or perhaps trouble just likes to find them.

Truly the best fantasy I've ever read. I cannot reccomend this book enough if you like fantasy.
I wasn't 100% sure when I first started this book. But the further I got into this book, the more invested I got.
Unfortunately this is a DNF at 30% I just don’t enjoy YA as much as I want to
I really really loved this one. This book is actually what got me back into reading again. Up 2005 reading was my life lol! Then in '06 to about 2013 I just kind of stopped. Anyhow, initially I was just attracted to the cover. But form the first page I was enticed with the story. It started of with a bang. I adored most all of the characters. The plot was fast moving and exciting. I really love the world Chima crafted, she's very good with world building and keeping the rules of her world consistent. Each character is unique, well-rounded, and complex. Chima just has this way of whisking you out of reality for a little bit. Han is probably one of the best main characters I've had the pleasure of reading about--an I usually don't like the mains. Also Chima's imagery and landscape descriptions are just super wonderful. Overall Demon King was a beautiful work.
