Enticing picture of life in New York. Good description of relationships between parents and child. Sort of a time-loop where you return to your own time after 1 day. Interesting concept, but the story focusses mostly about her relationship with her father. It's a bit sentimental. Good writing style and structure of the book. 3½ to 4 stars.

Felt like there were a good number of plot holes but I really enjoyed this story and concept; led to really great conversations w/ my partner about our life choices. Big Midnight Library vibes.

I really enjoyed this story. Who doesn’t wish they could time travel just a little bit and have the chance to do things over again? I felt like the ending came a little abruptly- or maybe I just wanted more to it. All in all a fun weekend read, I would recommend.
