I loved the perspectives of when God talks to us in our mind and how there are many times we don’t want to listen or we ignore him. But it was so nice to know he’s always there and that even when we might not know what we’re doing, he knows and we should trust in Him. I loved that this story was so real, connected to real life and real emotions. Just in awe of this book really.

This one was a SLOW read but by the end I found that it was worth it. You get so much character development not only for Angel, but for Hosea and his brother in law as well. This made me smile, cry, and made my jaw drop.
I normally don’t read Christian Fiction, but this book wasn’t what I was expected. It was a lot darker than you might think with some questionable characters and decisions. Honestly the “Christian” part wasn’t a big deal. This book should be shelved as Historical Fiction.

I absolutely loved this book! God is truly amazing & this story helps shows it. One of my ultimate favorite love stories. Will never not recommend this book.
