I really liked Beyond the Kingdoms! Travelling to various beloved fairytales to create friendships and build armies was such a brilliant idea! I utterly loved traveling through the various worlds and meeting the slightly wacky versions of these characters!
Red and Froggy’s love story continues to break my heart, I truly hope they get a happy ending! I would’ve loved to see more of Jack and Goldie, but I did enjoy our new hero’s quite a bit!
My only complaint was the way Alex’s character was written, it seemed completely out of her character. I also hated how quickly the other fairy’s de-godmothered her. If that plot had to happen, I think a few more “incidents” before the de-godmothering would’ve been a good addition.

In this volume, Alex and Connor end up traveling through many different books, not just the worlds we've come to know. The ending is much more of a cliffhanger than others, and it felt less cohesive to me.
Land of Stories= best books ever

I recently read The Land of Stories: Beyond the Kingdoms. Reading this series, up and coming author Chris Colfer has become one of my recent favourites.
I have to say, although I still loved this book I didn't find it as thrilling as the first three. Don't get me wrong though, I liked this book and thought the ending was good and excites me for the next book.
Beyond the Kingdoms takes places once again in the Land of Stories, but this time our favourite main characters visit Neverland, Wonderland, The Land of Oz, Camelot, and Sherwood Forest. The Land of Stories is once again threatened by the evil and sinister Masked Man.
In this novel I was happy as many of my questions were answered from Book 3, although, as all good books do, this books leave my with many wonders.
All in all I enjoyed it.
