After meeting Ranger, I just knew we needed a book of him meeting his pack. And after the other books that came after the first Assurance Security, just made me want his HEA more. Jillian did an amazing job with mental health and neurodivergent representation in this book is just done beautifully. She excels making sure everything is well written and researched so all of the characters have their own spotlight.
Another thing I truly liked was that eventually the pack found balance between everyone's character. They were all perfect for Laken, and their personalities, struggles, added to the story and their pack dynamic. Jillian paired Laken with the guys that would fit her needs best, even before realizing it.
Even though it's a standalone, I would definitely recommend reading the other books within this series and Queen of Spades. It'll give a full rounded version of the love for Ranger, and the other members of this world that Jillian built.

I tore through this book in a day. This author is a go-to for me and this book did not disappoint. The balance of plot and spice is there. You never feel like one is dominating the other. They work together to build a story of an omega building her pack. I liked how the neurospicy characters were handled too. Just an all around great read.

Finally the highly anticipated book with Ranger and his pack! Man this one didn’t disappoint. I was honestly a bit surprised with Ranger but it was a good surprise. Ranger, Locke, and Tanner all had me laughing throughout the book too. The number of quotes I highlighted throughout the book were numerous and hilarious. Even though I love Ranger Locke has got to be my favorite. There’s just something about his psycho personality 😍

I love unhinged characters and I feel like this just made it fun. Liked the relationships building and the diff time we got with each guy.
