Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for the advanced copy. This is my first book by Sheila Robert’s and it won’t be my last. The Best Life Book Club follows four women during major changes of their lives. Karissa and her daughter are starting over in a new town, Margot is struggling after losing her job, Alice is terrified to drive, and Josie’s relationship with her daughter is nonexistent . The one thing that brings them all together is book club. I enjoyed the stories of each of the for characters, even if they were predictable.

I liked how the author intertwined the book club picks with the story. It was amazing to see the change in the characters. I loved the HEA.

A decent book about middle aged women who found friendship in a book club. Didn’t hold my attention and it fell flat for me. The characters were annoying and their stories didn’t add much to the whole of the book. Book #92 in 2024

I’m surprised I made it through this book with its cheesy writing, cliche story lines, and idiotic dialogue. I was rolling my eyes and rushing through trying to make it end sooner. I want my time back.
