I'll be honest, I'm only giving this 4 stars because I adore Byer and I want her book to be successful. The book itself is kind of disappointing. It's very much in Byer's voice, but it turns out that voice isn't half as effective in written form. She's way better when you can hear her actual voice. That said, about 2/3rds of the book is just pictures of Byer in about a billion amazing bikinis. I'm very jealous.

You'll like this if you like the podcast Why Won't You Date Me. I'm not sure there's much here for you if you aren't already a Byer fan.

This is barely a book and I barely read it.

However, Nicole Byer is hilarious in any form. Is the book funny? Yes. Does it offer good tips? Maybe. Is it informational? Of course not.

Do I want to wear a bikini now?  Yeah... yeah I think I do.

This book is some kind of systematic desensitization exposure therapy. She just says fat fat fat and spams pictures of her wearing swimsuits that fat girls usually don't wear in poses fat girls usually don't do and she looks like she's having a blast. She looks fantastic.

So yeah, maybe I will wear the bikini I bought this summer and if anyone says anything I'll just moo.

Love Nicole Byer and love the message, but honestly this mostly ends up being a photo book, so I will not be assigning it a rating.

Nicole Byer is an international treasure, and if you haven't had the pleasure of meeting her yet, this book will have the pleasure of intoducing you to her. Aside from beeing naturally funny, she is very beautiful, which is displayed in the many photos in this book.
The book contains a lot of photos, and not a lot of words, it's a fun and quick read, and works as a quick and surface-level display of Nicole's brilliant sense of humour.

Nicole Byer of Netflix's #Nailedit fame put together a great book about body positivity. Love her or hate her - she is loud and self-proclaimed #veryfat and #verybrave. Of this there is no doubt! No way I would be brave to go around to all the places she did in a bikini and she makes those suits look HAWT! Kudos to her. Not an easy book to put out there but the world needs more unapologetic books about self-love and loving your body no matter its shape or size! A fun read with even more fun photo shoots of Nicole in crazy bikinis doing crazy stuff with her trademark sense of humor.

This is mostly pictures of Nicole, but her commentary is funny because she is funny. I read the ebook, and it says it took me 39 minutes to read.

I loooooove Nicole Byer and am a follower of the extensive Nicole Byer podcast universe (Why Won't You Date Me?, Drag Her, Best Friends, Newcomers, 90 Day Bae). I have seen her perform stand-up. So I might not be in the best position to be objective about this book of photos and inspiration, but I thought it was funny and vibrant and fun to read.

I really wanted to like this more because I LOVE Nicole Byer, but this was a bit of a let down. I laughed out loud maybe twice, and the rest was kind of meh. Rating a 3 for the body positivity and I truly loved all of her bikini pictures. I still love you Nicole!
