I received Ctrl Z in return for an honest review from the author. Indigo Sykes has been running from her past attempting to move forward but it keeps dragging her back. After her relationship will a college professor goes up in flames after learning the truth she struggles to forget him, refusing to trust another guy. When she happens to meet Jude one night in a bar, her friend takes her home before anything can happen but she leaves a lasting impression when he comes to fix her computer in class.

An unlikely relationship grows between the two as Jude works hard to keep Indigo for getting away. However not everything is as it seems as Jude’s work buddy talks him into writing a program for a contract that brings easy money but breaks the law. Jude is swept into a world where if he does not comply he could end up hurt or worse. As Indigo learns that Jude is in over her head she tries to pull away afraid of getting sucked into the life she’s been running from. Her attempt to avoid is short lived she’s sucked in just as deep and soon they will have to risk it all just to survive.

I like both Indigo and Jude, he’s kind of perfect for her because he doesn’t give up when she’s pulling away. She’s been hurt, yet she’s strong and has survived getting out while she can. I love how the book bounces between both points of view it gives the reader a unique perspective. Ctrl Z is a captivating story that shows a unique story about two people each struggling with the mob. This is my first book involving the mob and I really enjoyed it but I did stay up late reading and my dreams were haunted by the mob coming after me. Ctrl Z is an intense story that kept me on the end of my seat, filled with raw emotions, romance and pain. I really enjoyed the story; it’s brilliantly filled with surprises right up to the very end. There are some real situations that may not be for younger readers.

Ctrl Z tells the story of Indigo, a girl who has fought to move past her old life. Jude is a computer hacker who took on the wrong job. Their paths cross and an unlikely romance blossoms between the two. But when Jude's job goes wrong people get hurt and secrets are revealed.

Ctrl Z was an action packed book that easily kept my attention. I wanted to find out more about Indigo's past and I wanted to know what Jude's big, secret job was. Their tension and chemistry was excellent and was my favorite part of the whole book. When those two were together it was hot.

Indigo was a complex character that wasn't always likeable but was always interesting. She had a past and little hints were dropped throughout. I liked that she was real and flawed but was still trying.

I am fascinated with hacking so Jude's character was especially interesting. He was a nice guy that got caught up in the wrong thing. He didn't always respond to things right but he genuinely cared about Indigo and I loved that.

Ahhh, the heat level was hot. A couple had me fanning myself. Swoon.

The only flaw was a tendency to use several descriptive words over and over. Other than that it was highly enjoyable and I look forward to picking up her other books.

I'd recommend Ctrl Z to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense with lots of sizzle. Filled with well developed and interesting characters, it was fast paced and full of twists and turns. And the ending? Killer!

* I was given this book for free in exchange for my honest opinion. *

I really liked this book, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quick read that will have them sitting on the edge of their seats.

I liked watching the characters grow throughout the book, and become more sure of themselves and what they wanted. I especially liked Indigo as the main character. The more I read and learned more about her background, the more I found myself rooting for her, and hoping that she got what she wanted. I liked Jude as well, though there were times I wished that I could shake some sense into him.

Another thing that I liked about this book was the fact that it goes to show that you absolutely cannot judge a person by what they look like, or assume that you know their story. I mean, I would never have guessed that Jude and Indigo were dealing with all that crazy stuff. Yes, someone probably could, but certainly not me.

One thing that I found slightly confusing, was the fact that there were several narrators in this story, and if you're not paying attention, it will change from one to the other, and you'll be sitting there going... Ummmm, wait, what?! Definitely not a good idea to read it while your sisters are fighting with each other...*COUGH COUGH* ahem, well then...

I really liked this book (just in case you didn't read that statement at the beginning of my review). But I thought the ending was going to kill me! I kinda wanted to see more of how their relationship went from that point on, but I liked it anyway (I am full of contradictions, am I not?) It was one of those things where, even though I wanted more, I sat the book down with a big goofy grin on my face. Okay, enough of my mumbling, go read it!! :)

Second book of 2015 and I'm crossing it off my list as "Book with antonyms in the title" :)

In this romantic thriller, Indigo is trying to escape a dark past and Jude is a hacker with a history of getting in trouble. There is steam between them as soon as they meet, though it takes time for them to get together. They get pulled into a situation with the mob and people around them are getting killed. There is plenty of suspense. I didn't feel all that connected to either character, though I'm not sure why. Too different, maybe. But they were both interesting characters and they worked well as a couple. I will recommend this for fans of romantic suspense.

Ctrl Z is a tale of possibility and of second chances. Once again, Danika Stone demonstrates her talent for writing whole characters – flawed people who make mistakes and learn from them as well as possible, but never quite make it to perfect. Her story telling is well paced and engaging, comfortably straddling the line between romance and drama. In short, this book is excellent entertainment.
