Very quick read that explains a lot of thing for the series itself. I liked visiting this world again and really can't wait to pick up the final book in this series next year.
Origins: The Fire is a quick, and dramatic read, but is one that also leaves you wanting to pick up the first book again.

Shorter than I expected but Debra Driza really manages to pack a punch. I've never been in a fire but she really made me feel Mila's choking struggle in the burning house. Can't wait to read book 1!

This was an intro into Mila 2.0. Quick read and informative.

an interesting teaser that I read before book 1

but, based on the information, I wonder if this would be more revealing or interesting if I'd read it after the first book.

either way, it's a great intro! I'm really excited for book 1 now!

While the author did an amazing job in writing this blood pumping prologue, I do believe that creating another book for something this short is hugely unecessary. This prologue could have been included athe start of the first book because it was just a chapter long.

This book was pretty intense for a short as it is! I mean, how awful would that be, to wake up to fire and smoke? Then to escape, only to realize your parents are still inside the burning building? I can't even imagine that kind of terror. It makes my lungs seize up just to think about it. And I'm really curious about the ending.
Does she know she's an android? Do her parents know? Was it an experiment or something??
I actually think I've read this before, but it's been so long it was like reading it for the first time again.

Overall, I'm not really sure why this was a novella and not an actual prologue. I feel like maybe this should be integrated into the actual story. I read this first, since it's a prequel, so I'm not sure if this will impact my thoughts/feelings of Mila 2.0 at all. But it was still pretty good for being so short!

Off to read Mila!

Just a one chapter, very short prequel to the Mila 2.0 series.

As another person on here said, really short! Probably as short as the one that went with the Chemical Garden series by Lauren DeStefano. So, I liked it, but it was really disappointing that all it was, well, was pretty short and didn't really tell anything extra.
