Was just a list of emotions, didn't feel like a strung together narrative.

This was so underwhelming. Felt extremely superficial, it would have been better if only a few of the subjects were chosen and throughly discussed. With most nonfictions I’ve read I learned something but this is unfortunately not the case

Love Brene. This book and the series on tv are just amazing and wish everyone would read it

Lots of great stuff here - one of my favorites is the part about how resentment is rooted in envy, and when feeling resentment, you can ask yourself, "what is it that I need and am afraid to ask for?"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️– Atlas of the Heart by Brené Brown

I’m not usually a “self-help” book girl, but Atlas of the Heart completely changed my mind. I picked it up at a pivotal moment—recovering from burnout and stepping away from a four-year role that had turned toxic. I was searching for something to help me navigate the messy emotions that came with this experience, and Brené Brown’s book felt like reading a letter from a wise, caring friend, an extremely well educated in this space friend. (Coupled with therapy? DAMN)

It affirmed that my feelings were valid and made the world beyond my comfort zone seem less scary. Brown’s way of mapping out the complex landscape of human emotions gave me the language and courage to start stepping back into life with a new lens to look through
