Maybe it’s just me but 10 pages of straight metaphors to describe very little actual information is just a bit much for me. I understand some people love that writing style and i genuinely see the appeal. I just know it isn’t for me.

This is a devastating and beautifully honest, and as such personifies the concept of humanity itself, introspective story. It took me two whole days to read the book, and I was sobbing hysterically through each page. In total, I spent 8 hours a day hunched over this book with massive drops of tears running down my cheeks. Additionally, it took me two and a half weeks to think of anything besides the characters. This book felt real because it is real, and there is nothing more artistic than an artist’s search for hope. Many art pieces are created to escape or illustrate suffering, but it is suffering itself that prevents artists from creating further. I am grateful that Lancali not only created this, but created it for those who can’t create anymore themselves. I look forward to her upcoming works.
