Dear Sexy Ex-Boyfriend is the cutest, dreamiest friends to lovers, fake engagement romance. I loved this book!! It had everything I need in a Lauren Blakely book - flirty banter, amazing characters, heat and a lot of heart. Plus, a sexy brit that will absolutely make you swoon.

I love, love, looooove the relationship between Summer and Oliver. Friends since they were young, there is a natural closeness to them. It's obvious how much they like being with each other. The tension that builds as they attempt to remain only friends while pretending to be engaged is everything. My heart hurts and melts simultaneously for Oliver and his reasons why he couldn't pursue anything with Summer.

Lauren Blakey has never let me down. She continues her amazing streak of charming, entertaining, heart happy stories with Dear Sexy Ex-Boyfriend. I wholeheartedly recommend picking up Summer and Oliver's story.

Absolutely love the bloopers at the end of LB audiobook book and the narrator chats at end sooooooooo gooooood.
Can not beat Shane East and Andi Arndt narration.

This book was adorable. Oliver and Summer's history built a strong foundation for them. Their transition from friends to lovers was too easy, which scared them both. We got to see flashbacks from their friendship and I feel it helped the reader really understand who they were to each other. I read their story quickly because I was engaged in it and wanted to see how it all played out. Summer's letter, which started their mess, was perfect and Lauren Blakely couldn't have done a better job with this story.

Summer enters a writing contest to write a letter to your ex without being bitter, so she writes an ode to her best friend Oliver who is always there for her, as she is for him, but when she wins the contest and the letter is posted online and taken entirely the wrong way the internet she doesn't know what to do.
Oliver's newest client is threatening to leave his firm because of the internet's misconception, so he asks Summer to be his fake fiancée for 3 weeks to convince his client to stick around. But things happen when you ask your bff of the last 17 years to be your fake fiancée and now they don't know what to do with all their feelings and lustiness.
This was good fun, if you need an upbeat, happy, phobia free world to play in I recommend Blakely's, she is consistently a happy read.

Cute sexy Rom Com

A cute and steamy friends to lovers, fake fiance romantic comedy. Summer and Oliver have been friends forever but it takes a fake engagement for Ollie to see what's been right in front of him all along.

This was such a breath of fresh air when it comes to what I’m reading these days.
It wasn’t dark, it wasn’t heavy, and it didn’t hurt. And that’s the best part of it.
Summer & Oliver have been friends for what seems to be their whole life, always there for one another, in all aspects of life.
Whether they were just friendly or helping each other escape potentially ugly situations, they had each other’s back.
A little unrequited love, a little bit of swoonworthy hero, a lot of mix up and some laugh out loud moments pushed this book firmly into 5 stars.
I genuinely enjoyed the experience.

Lauren Blakely is an auto-buy author for me. I love her writing style so it’s no surprise I loved this book! Oliver and Summer were fantastic. Some of my favorite tropes are fake relationship and friends to lovers and this book had both. If you’re looking for a fun romcom pick this up today!

Oliver and Summer's friends to lovers story is sweet and steamy and simply a great book to read anytime around, faking an engagement should become with a warning, but these two didn't get it. A sizzling chemistry that will drive them closer and have you reading with a smile on your face and pulling an all night to finish it. I definitely recommend it, and the audiobook as well.

This book was a fun read for in between. It didn‘t lack anything. It was funny, heartwarming and very steamy.

The story of Summer and Oliver isn‘t just any friends to lovers story. It is so much more. The characters are brilliant and that‘s not only the main characters but every sibling and friend and I can‘t wait to see more of them.

Oliver is this very hot, british lawyer who lost someone very special when he was younger. Summer, her twin brother Logan and Oliver grew up with eachother so Sunmer knows what Oliver is feeling. Still both of them are drawn to eachother and not only friendly.

Summer is trying hard to make her dream cone true and when she sees a chance she obviously takes it which in turn leads to a very very funny and very needed time between the main characters.

I really enjoyed this book. It wasn‘t angsty or twisted in any way an sometime you just need a feel good romance story where you can really focus on the characters and their love story.
