Once again, I love how the graphic novel adapts the podcast to a visual style! The banter between Taako and Kravitz is wonderful, and I like how certain battles and plot-points are condensed. The overall pacing and rhythm of the story feels very natural and progresses nicely. Additionally, I really appreciate the extra bits at the end of this book that explain the artist's process and go into more detail about how these graphic novels are created collaboratively. I am sad that I've caught up to the series and have to wait for more books to be released, but I understand that something this thoughtful and gorgeous takes time!
Another great rendition of The Adventure Zone podcast! This one was great - lots of action, but lots of sweet character-building moments in there too. I definitely feel like I got more depth with Lucas's character and backstory, and I ESPECIALLY loved all of the Taco/Kravitz moments!! So sweet and cute. Swooning. TAZ is one of my favorite stories of all time, and I love being able to see it in such a gorgeous comic book.
