This book made me want to do some art and self reflection and self care. And also be politicly and socially active. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing that would have made it better is if it was printed on 100% post consumer recycled paper (only if that is better than FSC mixed paper from responsible sources which every part of me agrees that it is— if I’m wrong ignore the rest of my review please). The one line pages about the planet printed on virgin trees were kind of a bummer. I feel that the pages of empty space enhanced my reception of some of the book— made some of those one liners more potent and powerful. I hope that she has the freedom to express herself and be kinder to the planet with her next book.
