I am glad I finally decided to read...well, listen...to this book. It was way better than I anticipated. I thought you had to be some nerdy, comedy hipster who watches 30 Rock to enjoy it. NOT TRUE. Tina Fey comes across even more likable then I ever thought she would. Now, I even want to watch the show. Of course she talks about the point at which I first developed my love for her - being Sarah Palin. SO good. The stories were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a light, fast-paced, funny read. She really did a great job.

I mean, it’s Tina Fey. If I had any criticism of this book it’s that it was written over a decade ago and I’d love to hear more from Fey about ending 30 Rock and life after her SNL/30 Rock run. But it remains a delightful and funny read.

Ok, so I thought this was super-funny, like chortling, can't stop snorting funny. But it also made me realize I Just Dpn't Care about tv, so a lot of it went right over my head.

Reading this at the same time as Becoming by Michelle Obama. Lots of parallels- “visiting” Chicago, the 2008 presidential election, sexism in politics, media & Hollywood. Greatly enjoyed!

This was a great, light read. Definitely something I needed. I think if u divide it into 4 parts, the st quarter and 2nd half were hilarious. There.

Tina Fey is so smart, funny, honest, humble, relatable. Simply put, she is a blast to read. The opening pages had me in the "ugly laugh" -- face reddening, tears rolling down my cheeks, the inescapable snort. Beyond humor, though, Fey's keen insights are common-sense and no-B.S. (The fact that they're often delivered with a wicked punchline is just an extra bonus.) Make no mistake about it -- This is a shrewd commentary on gender, culture, career, and family, masquerading as a comic memoir.

Bossypants by Tina Fay is her autobiography (audiobook is also narrated by her on the Libby app) and lemme tell you I got a kick out of this book. I was for real LOLing outside while trimming my hedges and listening to the book.

Tina Fay is a gem. It is loaded with casual and dry humor, and tidbits about working on SNL, creating 30 Rock (still on TV when the book was published in 2011), being a mom and an actress/writer, writing Mean Girls, and her general life around all that. Also how great it was to work with Alec Baldin and Tracy Morgan.

If you're a Tina Fay fan, or just enjoy celebrity autobiographies I think this one is a hit.
