Bossypants by Tina Fay is her autobiography (audiobook is also narrated by her on the Libby app) and lemme tell you I got a kick out of this book. I was for real LOLing outside while trimming my hedges and listening to the book.
Tina Fay is a gem. It is loaded with casual and dry humor, and tidbits about working on SNL, creating 30 Rock (still on TV when the book was published in 2011), being a mom and an actress/writer, writing Mean Girls, and her general life around all that. Also how great it was to work with Alec Baldin and Tracy Morgan.
If you're a Tina Fay fan, or just enjoy celebrity autobiographies I think this one is a hit.

Fey never fails to entertain. Her conversational narration is superb, her comedic timing spot-on, and her stories laugh-out-loud funny. Additionally, Fey creates a host of unique voices for the many characters with whom she crosses paths. Whether she's climbing a dangerous mountain to impress an uninterested would-be boyfriend or holding court on parenting and gender roles, Fey leaves listeners laughing and longing for more. Totally addictive and utterly enjoyable, this audio is an absolute must for fans—and just about everyone else too.

It was smart, warm & funny. It made me get to know Tina Fey more in many different aspects and I appreciate that. It was a woman thinking out loud and I think that's the best way to think. For anyone.

I enjoyed this book as a quick entertaining read. The style is very snappy and some people may have difficulty with the way she jumps around. She has some good insights into being a woman in a male dominated field but if you're looking for in depth feminist analysis this is not the book for you. For me, it was just the right thing after a long stressful day.

I already liked Tina Fey before reading this book. I had to right, or else why would I even pick up the book. After reading this book, I LOVE Tina Fey. She is such an amazingly funny and candid writer. I laughed out loud a lot. I definitely recommend this book.

This book had so much praise and I love Tina Fey but I was really disappointed. Half the book she was claiming that she was not really famous, etc and that the Palin thing made her famous? I knew about her way before the palin stuff.
I don't know. It had some funny spots, but I stopped about 3/4 through because I was bored .
