A decent audiobook with good narration. An entertaining thriller albeit predictable. I still enjoyed it despite guessing every twist.

Obsessed!
I love Sarina’s romances, so I was super excited to check out her debut thriller and...wow, it did not disappoint. Her writing style transcends genres, and it translates perfectly to suspense. One of the reasons this thriller worked so well for me is her talent for crafting well-rounded, authentic characters that feel like real people.
I feel like I know Rowan. I definitely know Natalie. They’re every mother-daughter duo in some ways, but there’s something deeper there. Natalie’s choices and internal thoughts as a teenager mirrored my own at her age, and Rowan constantly finds herself in deeper trouble by making quick, real-life decisions without thinking them through. Every lie, every snap decision just digs the hole deeper and I was hooked watching it all unfold. I needed to know if she was going to set the record straight or keep digging.
I’ll try to stay vague to avoid spoilers, because I went in 100% blind (as always) and highly recommend doing the same. Some twists I saw coming, but others? Completely blindsided me. Sarina has this brilliant way of dropping just enough information right when you don’t expect it causing you to completely flip your understanding of the story’s direction.
There’s also a touch of romance (not too much, and definitely not too spicy) but it was perfectly done. We all know Sarina can write swoony MMCs, and the one here? I really wanted to believe in him and protect him. Whether I was right about him or if he completely played me also, you’ll just have to read and see. 😉
The narration was phenomenal! Kathleen Early, Caitlin Kelly, and Sarah Mollo-Christensen brought so much personality and emotion to these women. They made the characters leap off the page (or, well, headphones).
Thank you, NetGalley, for the audiobook!

Architect Rowan discovers her ex-boyfriend’s murdered body and becomes a suspect in the killing. To clear her name, she investigates the crime and uncovers a deadly conspiracy, forcing her to fight for her life.
I’m a huge fan of Sarina Bowen’s romances—she’s an auto-read author for me. I also enjoyed her first thriller. This book started off slow for me, and it took a while for me to warm to Rowan. The story picked up after the murder was discovered. The novel has both thriller and mystery vibes, as well as a bit of a romance subplot. The characters are well-developed with strong relationships. The tense plot kept me guessing.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

I enjoyed Bowen's first thriller last year and was excited to see how her new thriller will do. Dying to meet you was fully met my expectation as a thriller that keeps you guessing and the mansion adds a creepy factor.
There's so many layers of complexity in the story with Rowan and her ex-boyfriend, her relationship with her daughter and ex- husband. Add in her work with renovating a wealthy family mansion, we got a solid story.
There is a wide cast of narrators (Kathleen Early; Caitlin Kelly; Sarah Mollo-Christensen) which made the POV easily to follow. I was fully vested in the story.
