I’ve not seen Phantom of the Opera and this isn’t my favourite plot but even a meh Discworld is still a good time.

I think Granny Weatherwax has firmly cemented herself as my favorite Discworld character at this point, followed by Moist von Lipwig. And a Discworld take on Phantom of the Opera? Yes please!

Witches, murders, a best selling cookbook, and a smelly cat. All the ingredients for a page turning Pratchett classic.

Witty and hilarious. You might not get as much out of it if you aren't familiar with musical theatre as a whole and phantom of the opera specifically, but well written. Read this if you want to laugh.

Pratchett is just so comfortable to read.

Good fun, but also seriously creepy. Phantom of the Opera with a dippy, self absorbed Christine who faints histrionically on cue but can't sing a note, dubbed by "Perdita" (nee Agnes), a sensible country girl with a powerful voice, always referred to as "the one with the great personality. And lovely hair. ". Some great lines:

(looking at the chandelier) - "Now THAT's an accident waiting to happen"

Crowd hunting down the Phantom:
" Have we got the flaming torches?"
"Torches are not required!"
"What about pitchforks, eh?"
"That's for a vampire you idiot!"

Fun as always; parody of the Phantom of the Opera
