Huge fan of the podcast so when they announced a book I was thrilled. This is a easy light hearted read with some HILARIOUS shit stories and overall I enjoyed it. Some areas did disappoint though, for one the end was super abrupt. I would say that there wasn’t an ending at all, it definitely felt unfinished.

Another criticism is the style of writing. Yes they aren’t professionals writers and the the style is intended to be chatty however, most sections had a comment from each person and that was it. No continued conversation therefore it felt, at times, blocky and structured (opposite of what you want for this style). The highlight for me was the last chapter, I read through that with record speed, I just wish the rest of the book had the same feel.

Is this reading a little disjointed? Yes

Is it perfect? Absolutely not.

Is it plenty of banter and ridiculous stories from your fave couple from the sma podcast? Absolutely

It won’t blow your mind but it is absolutely worth your time and well worth buying to support the podcast. The podcast you get every week for free might I add!

This book made me cry with laughter, as a fan of the SMA podcast I had to pick this book up and I am so glad I did :) I had also downloaded the audiobook for this and listened to it will reading along with the book.

The topics that were discussed in the books were very current issues that do affect everyone and was it was so funny seeing Rosie’s and Chris’s perspectives on them was very enjoyable to read/listen to and including the emails from the members of the public was a great addition to the book as it still made it feel like the podcast which I loved.

Overall this book was hilarious and enjoyable reading experience and I would really recommend it if you want to see a lovely couple argue/comment on the relevant topics that affects everyone. I had a stitch I was laughing so much

I don't think I'm the target audience for this book. It's just not as good as the podcast and they explain a lot of phrases which was annoying

I love the podcast but this is too performed for me. I'll stick to the natural format where jokes are sporadic and flow more freely.

If you're fans of the podcast by the same name then you will love this, it's almost like an extended podcast, but more personal. I pre-ordered the book, but then as my husband is a fan of the podcast he wanted to listen to the audio book with me, so we listened to it, which was great as I would have only heard their voices in my head anyway :)

It is funny and disgusting in equal measures, like I said if you're a fan of the podcast you'll love it as there are smatterings of questions or emails from the public thrown in & everyone's favourite section... :)

Really enjoyed it. As always huge fans of their down to earth, no bullshit approach to life & can't wait to see them live next year (finger's crossed!)
