4 What's Going On? Stars

First I have to say that I really enjoyed this little twisted read but I had no other option but to rate it 4 stars because of it's length.

Ivy and Noah have been kidnapped, drugged and thrown in some weird luxurious bedroom cell. When they come to they are still under the influence of whatever drugs they'd been given. Then it just gets twisted, dark and oh so intriguing.

This is unlike any 'kidnap' book I have read. I mean the purpose and the reason for their kidnapping is still unknown but what is expected of them and the way they are kept is different from what I've read before and I like different (some times ;)). It definitely got the blood pumping in the right way.

Yes this is too short but for the length it sure did pack a punch in the dark and twisted category. The setting and characters are really intriguing and I find myself a little stunned at how much I did like it.I am excited to see where this one goes, I am a little concerned though as I searched the author's pages and can't find anything about book 2 I hope they don't leave us hanging too long.

Holy titfire. What the hell did I just read? Bigger question, why did I like it so much. This book is twisted and then some. I have so many questions...I'm glad the next book is out already.

Taken is the first novella in the Voyeur series by N. Isabelle Blanco and Elena M. Reyes. I had never read anything by these two authors before, but once I read the blurb, I was sold! It sounded like just the kind of dark, depraved story I love to read. More twisted than I imagined, intense, bloody, and intriguing, it definitely did not disappoint!

Two people are kidnapped from their homes and wake up in a luxurious room drugged and scantily clad where they are ordered around by a disembodied voice coming through speakers in the walls. There is no doors and seemingly no way out. Blood is seeping from under one of the walls, and every so often they hear moans and screaming coming from somewhere beyond the room which just serves as a source of more anxiety.

Ivy and Noah are best friends, and while having each other is their only source of comfort, that fact is used against them. The person behind this sick scenario threatens each of their lives if they don’t comply with all of their demands most of which are sexual in nature. No matter what they want, it’s becomes clear that they are going to have to either have sex and perform other sexual acts with an audience or be tortured and die!

Taken is one hell of a novella! The story enraptured me right away, kept me captivated throughout, and the end left me practically salivating for more! My imagination was running as wild as Ivy and Noah’s the whole time I was reading. I wanted to know who was behind this perverted little plan, why they targeted our two main characters, and what the reason was behind it all. There is a big cliffhanger at the end of the book, so if you don’t like that, pass this one on by! My friend described it as leading someone to climax, but then stopping just as you are about to orgasm, and I couldn’t have put it any better myself! Lucky for me, I enjoy a little deprivation now and again. It makes the payoff so much sweeter! If you like your stories deliciously disturbing, dirty, and addictive, and cliffhangers that drive you mad with anticipation aren’t a deal breaker for you, I recommend this one to you!!

a really bizarre book but one that kept you turning the pages!

It was a freebie but I didn't realise it was part of a series and it ends on a cliff hanger so I have no idea why Noah and Ivy have been kidnapped and truthfully my interest is more than piqued at this point!!

Yes it's pretty erotic and well written -the frustration scenes are excellently described!! - but has a lot of dark points to this one so trigger warning sent out to this one!

...but I'm off to find the next in the series!!

That was absolutley mental
I'm still in shock from that crazy-ass story.
There isn't really that much I can say about this that the blurb doesn't but I'm going to try.
Here goes.
SO Ivy and Noah, best friends, kidnapped, drugged and dumped into some sort of sex dungeon.
Creepy-ass female voice wanted them to perform for,
well, who the hell knows?

This is a short read that packs a lot into its pages.
It's sick, twisted and like nothing I've ever read before.
I'm hoping in the next instalment we get a bit of backstory as I wasn't a great fan of how this started.
I felt it gave me a slight disconnect with the main characters Ivy and Noah which wouldn't have entirely been an issue if this was a longer read.
Despite that, I did manage to play catch up and I'm ever so intrigued with what will happen next.
On the edge of my seat here people.

This was well written and the main reason for me rating this three and a half stars, is I'm not quite sure if I'm quite fully invested here yet.
I liked both the main characters and have no idea where this is going but I'm hitching along for the ride anyway.
One final observation before I toddle off.
That was certainly a shit for brain moment near the end Ivy.
Played into her hands there.
DUH!! what were you thinking girly

Onwards and upwards on to the next sick twisted instalment, I go.
This should be interesting I feel like I'm in an episode of Saw.
Taken (Voyeur, #1) is free with a Kindle Unlimited subscription.

Hot, dark, and dirty. Just how I like my reads.

Best friends and surrogate siblings, Ivy and Noah have been kidnapped, Taken. Drugged and held captive in an opulent bedroom with no way out, they are forced to perform depraved and humiliating acts by a woman whose disembodied voice floats to them through speakers in the ceiling, threatening those they love if they don’t comply. Her audience needs to be entertained and Ivy and Noah are their entertainment.

Taken is part one in a short form (less than 100 pages) serial written in the first person single POV of Ivy. I loved the mystery that the single POV created. Only being in Ivy’s head had me questioning everything and everyone. And I love not being able to guess where a book is going to go. These authors did a fabulous job in that respect.

The chemistry between Ivy and Noah is electric, instant and—due to their sibling-like relationship—had a subtle but distinct taboo feel. The only thing that held me back from giving it a full five stars was that I needed more character detail. If there was a prologue or flashback that showed the characters previous to their abduction to get to know them and to illustrate the dichotomy of their current situation, I would be in heaven. And who knows, maybe we get that in the next part of the serial. *fingers crossed*

If you like dark erotica and aren't’ afraid of a little gore, this is a serial you need to try. Tied, part two of the series is scheduled for release on July 25, 2017, and you can bet I will be reading it when it comes out!

descriptionThis cover is OK. Pretty good representation of the story. Good compostion. Interesting title work.description

descriptionThis review is going to be rather on the short side. One, because the book itself is very short and two, because I need to watch some puppy and baby videos on Youtube to cleanse my brain. *lol*

So my feelings on this one? I really liked it. Like I said above it's super short and ends on a major cliffy, but I am incredibly intrigued to see where this is all going. The writing was excellent. It had a nice pace to it. It was twisted and bloody and had some hot sex scenes. Bring on the next installment!description

This book is sick, nasty, and somehow hot 😂

If the SAW franchise decided to dive into erotica it would be this book. The sick part is I actually enjoyed it. There is a to be continued ending... so if you can't take a cliffy you may want to hold off, but I felt it was good and short enough that you won't forget anything if you read it now and wait for the next book.

Edit... the second book is already out 😂
