This book started off so good, I flew through the first half of it and then it just started to go down hill. The only enjoyable part of the second half was the new POV. Honestly, this book could have been closer to a 4 star but the final couple reveals seemed so unnecessary.

4.5 ⭐️ Eye opening to child abuse and what it can push a person to do to get away from it.
drew me in from the start with the twists and turns of the memory loss of Claire. there were points that shifted between past and present that didn’t have clear divide which muddled some pieces. the last 30ish pages had me a little surprised at that then and overall some plot points that never got tied up. easy, enjoyable read though

Without giving anything away I can say with certainty that this book will leave you with your jaw on the floor. Full of characters that are rich and lush you’ll find yourself on the edge of each chapter. This is a book you will enjoy. The ending will leave you speechless.
