I was so curious about Kai when Sergei and Alessandro rescued him from Mexico. The majority of this book takes place in the year leading up to that though. Kai and Nera meet by chance and thus begins their year of orbiting around one another. Kai’s obsession with Nera was absolute and I loved that for him. It was really interesting that she didn’t know his name the entire year they met up. 

I like that the three guys from the Z.E.R.O. unit are now free of that and living their HEA’s. Nera had to put up with so much for the three years until Massimo got out of prison, she really showed strength. Overall it was a good book.

With a TBR longer than I can ever possibly read, I gave up on this one at 12%. I just wasn’t feeling it.

Nera and Kai were perfect together and I loved this book and I thought their storyline was really unique and intriguing!! I hated that they spent so long apart and also I loved that she already knew what he did and instantly forgave him so it wasn’t this long drawn out thing and we got to move on. I wish we got to see more of Lucia and Kai bonding cause that was really cute! Also Az Belov and Kais interactions were hilarious as always! I am so interested in reading Zara and Massimo’s story!!! (Note: Massimo is Zara and Neras stepbrother who went to jail for a long time because someone killed their brother Elmo and their stepmom and Massimo killed that person. It all happened at a party and Zara and Nera saw it cause they were hiding upstairs. They weren’t allowed to visit Massimo in prison but once Nera took over she did visit him all the time. At their dad funeral Massimo came and saw Zara and called her Zahara and she just started at the ground the entire time then four years later he gets released and Zara tells Nera she’s going with him and Nera is super confused)
