Christmas was so cute. Ida is an ideal stoic contemplative love interest. But we also got a silly side of him (even if it frustrated Aoki at first). Disappointed tho that Aoki had a repetitive "breakup shutdown" in the same volume. Glad tho the build up of Aida & Hashimoto. That bro still gotta level up before he can deserve her. Let's see him do more work please.
Aoki breaks up with Ida after he tells his friends they are dating then regrets his hastiness. Ida comes and helps Aoki at the cake shop at Christmas and they make up. Ida agrees to say they are just friends b/c he understands that Aoki is worried about what others would do if they are dating and that he is also protecting his own heart. Hashimoto tries to get Akkun to see her as a girl. Ida has a talk with his friend about whether he likes Aoki and that he shouldn't date him out of pity. Ida has a hard time saying no to people. Ida invites Aoki over to his house so they can be alone since their "dates" always end being around their friends. They get in a fight again b/c Aoki feels like Ida is teasing him and putting him on the spot. But Ida realizes that he teases Aoki b/c he likes him (like a little boy). Finally, he confesses his feelings to Aoki.
Nothing really happens much in this volume. All cute stuff and a bit of relationship growth but honestly overall felt like an OVA. Not bad; I do love when authors can take their time to let things just grow in a nice pace.

Another pleasant installment in this sweet series. Aoki and Ida's relationship is slowly getting closer as the story progresses, but not without bumps along the way. I'm not too fond of how Aoki handles when there's miscommunication between the two of them, but it doesn't hinder me from enjoying the story as a whole. (It is pretty annoying, though.)
