4.23 AVERAGE

Like 3.5 or 3.75 compared to rating the previous ones solid 4’s. 4th volume of a super cute BL manga about a mix up in a love triangle about who likes who, that ultimately ends up with some personal growth and the two boys involved dating.

I liked this one, though I wish a bit more time had been spent with our main couple enjoying time together. Between the clumsiness of first relationships, the big emotions of our main character, and the well-meaning but somewhat obliviousness of his love interest, they spend a lot of the volume in conflict.

Which on the one hand the theme of the series is continual love mix-ups as the teens figure out themselves and their feelings for one another, but on the other hand I wanted to see a bit more of them having fun hanging out or going on a date that wasn’t either leading up to a mix-up or the reconciliation from it.

Not my favorite in the series but still cute, sweet, and funny. Always has a few moments that get an audible “Ha!” And a big grin from me, and a fun quick read. In the “I might buy these on sale some day” category for me.
I got this one from the library and I’m currently on a waiting list to read volume 5 from the library as well.

My Recommendation: JUST GO READ IT. Don't expect it to get hot and heavy or dramatic though. We're four volumes in and we're talking maybe 3-4 touches between the two love interests and I'm 100% on board for this. Hashimoto and Aida are also continuing to grow together, but let's face it I don't have eyes for anyone other than Aoki and Ida. I cannot wait for Volume 5 in October and should probably just buy these because they're so cute and I just want to keep reading them over and over and over and over.

My Response: I'm STILL squeeing about this adorable manga! I wish I could read Japanese because they're already on Volume 9! I also just found out there's a TV show version so I may try and figure that out soon. Mostly, I'm just glad my library had as many as they did and have my fingers crossed they'll keep getting them as they're released.

At first, I was frustrated with Ida, and then this volume I was definitely a bit more frustrated with Aoki because he was such a drama queen

I thought about this for quite a bit and I don't think I'm going to continue with this series. Miscommunication is one of my biggest pet peeves (especially in romance) and this series relay HEAVILY on that to move the story along. Also, even though I love the characters (yay for bi rep!), I see no chemistry between the main love interests. Lastly, I find the art to be a bit lacking.

Yes it gets tiring how much Aoki waffles about whether or not Ida likes him, but the story is cute and funny. Plus, we finally get an answer from Ida at the end!

Plot or Character Driven: Character
Loveable characters: Yes

Everyone was being a little stupid in this one.

Although,
Ida’s feelings realization at the end of this volume
was perfect.

Son: IDIOTAS. Me encantan xDDD. Más lindos, ellos...
