What a gorgeous book!!
I loved it. So unforced in its Blackness and so lovely and genuine. I need Shane 🥹🥹🥹🥹 Eva and her fight to just know how to be in herself and how to live in this world that sometimes refused her the dreams she had and… I loved her so much. I want her to be my friend 🥹

Ugh, this book gave me major feelings. Eva and Shane deserve all the happiness in the world, and I was rooting for them from page 1. I read most of this book over the course of an extremely long plane flight, then finished it this morning when I couldn't sleep due to jet lag, so not the most coherent review. But I'm so happy they found each other. Definitely review content warnings before going in if that's important for you, I found some scenes very hard to read.
