this was fast paced, suspenseful and a page turner! I could see this as a movie. It was thrilling and kept me on the edge of my seat! Definitely action packed. I loved the diversity of the characters, the camaraderie among the flight crew and the passion and care for the souls on board!

This fast paced thriller is not something I would usually choose but I saw it recommended all over Tiktok. I enjoyed the multiple POVs and perspectives on the same events and liked Jo and Theo's characters best. The sequence of events on the plane felt believable but the ending felt a bit too Hollywood-esque for me and I could definitely see this being adapted for a film at some point due to this. I would have liked a bit more grit and devastation from a book about a terrorist threat but it was still enjoyable.
I liked this book. The intrigue of a tough choice of the captain and urgency of the time passing until its time to make his choice. I'll read the other books by this author.

I picked up Falling on a friend’s recommendation, and I’m glad I did. From the very first pages, the story launches into high gear and maintains a relentless pace throughout. It reads like a high-stakes action thriller made for the big screen reminiscent of the blockbuster style of the late 1990s.
The characters are great and each plays a meaningful role in the plot. The pacing is consistently tight, with no lulls. I remained fully invested from beginning to end.
