Falling // T. J. Newman
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“You don’t think everyone actually lives, do you? Most people just exist and roam around. It’s a choice, to actually live.”
This thriller was everything you expect one to be, fast paced, high stakes, and with a handful of plot twists. Overall this book is engaging and quick to read. I read it over the course of one lazy day, as it is under 300 pages. The premise is that before a flight of 149 souls on board takes off, the pilot’s family is taken hostage. He is faced with a choice, kill his family, or crash the plane. It’s a pretty fun read and a good palette cleanser if you need a break from your usual reads. There is another book by this author titled Drowning that is somehow related, and I will be pursing that work.
