This book had an amazing opening but then it never really lived up to it. I liked the camaraderie between the flight attendants. And I think there was an interesting point made about the fact that so many Americans don’t know or care about the tragedies that happened to people in other countries. I also know that the author got a big signing bonus for this book and I say more power to her. But it just didn’t hook me. For a book that should be a page turner I found myself forgetting to go back to it at times. Even during crucial points in the plot. I just didn’t really get that involved with the characters. And I didn’t really feel much.
