Lex Croucher once again broke my heart and then stitched it back together. The story of Mariel and Clem and their Merry Men was so inspiring. The theme of doing what is right even those who are in charge tell you you’re wrong is so powerful and timely. I didn’t think something could top GwArt, but I think this is my new favorite Croucher novel. The losses were painful, the emotions were intense, and I was hooked the entire way through. I will be recommending this book to everyone in my circles. Cannot wait for more stories from Lex Croucher!!
