Meghan Quinn has been one of my top 5 favorite authors for many years. I think this goes to show you that an author who can please you for multiple years and through multiple books that she’s an exceptional writer. Her books have some hard fought HEA’s, and her characters actually WORK for the love they deserve and desire (this one even more than I could have imagined). Readers become immediately drawn to these stories because of this (although it never hurts that she gives us characters who make us swoon either).

Ladies, you need a Meghan Quinn book in your life. Books like hers are rare and you’ll always find something you like (she writes many types of romances). Walker is a hero that you won’t want to miss either as he’s exceptionally written. And when he opens up WOW! It’s absolutely incredible! I loved him to pieces. He may even be one of my top favorite Meghan heroes of all time!

The first thing that comes to my mind about this book is just a bunch of emojis because there are not enough words to possibly describe the greatness of this book.

The Perfect Catch is a forbidden relationship, medium angst novel by Meghan Quinn. Walker is a man dogged by demons and self hate and he’s been allowing it to spill into his professional career for far too long. He has a horrid image with the public and his team management is pressuring him to get his act together. And Kate is just the woman to do it. Kate is the team’s PR manager and her constantly optimistic demeanor paired with a spine of steel is the perfect foil for Walker’s perpetual grumpiness.

This book was seriously one of my favorite books of the year! Easily in the top five! There are some great belly-laugh out loud moments as well as some heart wrenching ones that brought tears to me eyes. The story was well paced and the writing was awesome with a serious twist I never some coming. Meghan does an awesome job of digging into all the feelings around a forbidden romance that could be career ending and getting into all the love and logic pulls between the heart and the head.

“This girl is compassionate, beautiful, has a heart of gold, and is everything I’m not, and she has me by the goddamn balls. Ever never met anyone like her. I’ve never wanted a woman as much as I want her.

The chemistry between them was off the chain, from naughty words, to stolen touches, to finally coming together, it was a build up of epic proportions that nearly lit my kindle on fire by the time the deed was finally done. Walker is everything you want in a grumpy alpha hero. Super dirty talking, hot as hell, demanding, temperamental, and jealous - all of which totally pushes Kate’s buttons. At the same time, he's kind, caring, and loyal to the ones he loves. For her part, Kate is a smart@ss and has a temper, but is also “an optimistic, positive, glass-half-full kind of girl. You know, the empathetic person you always cling to in your life because their heart is warm and you find comfort in that”. They were wonderful for each other and it felt wonderful when they got their hard fought happily ever after ❤️.

Audiobook Review: The Perfect Catch by Meghan Quinn, Narrated by Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin

Quinn makes it hard not to fall for her characters. Never quite perfect, they never cease to be irresistible. Kate and Walker are no exception. Clarke and Edwin take lovable to new heights with the personality that they bring to Walker and Kate. Whether laughing your head off or crying your heart out, Quinn and company make The Perfect Catch an enjoyable journey of heartwarming temptation that I will happily revisit again.

Meghan Quinn can write a baseball book! I loved this.

I loved this book. What a way to end the series. Walker is fire 🔥 I loved the angst and the slow burn and this was all kinds of hot and spicy. This was a well written forbidden romance. Also I was not ready for the plot twist that was part of this book. So what a jaw dropping moment for me

Over Walker n Kate their work flirting and just getting to know each other was so cute. The relationship between Penn and Walker i feel like could have been more prevalent bc i feel like that was an essential part of their lives and tension
