Meghan Quinn did it again! Awesome listen! Walker is a total grouchy, alpha mail. But it helps to make him irresistible! I absolutely loved Jason Clarke's narration. So yummy! Loved Kate & Walkers story. Great performance by Vanessa Edwin as well.

Meghan Quinn wrote another fantastic book. Walker wasn't as straight laced as the rest of his team, but he was a good guy. Kate was the perfect counterpart to Walker and helped him in many ways. It was nice to visit this series again and I loved laughing throughout this book. I definitely recommend reading this book.

With a possible trade in his future, Walker needs to clean up his image while at the same time try to find his joy in the career he is now dreading. Kate is the PR Manager tasked with the job of making the grumpy ball player more likeable and approachable. However the attraction they both feel might be the exact thing that forces the team to trade him. But can he have both his career and the woman he is falling in love with? Or will he have to give up one for the other? With a storyline that I could not put down and characters I just fell in love with this was a perfect ending to a fabulous series.

I really loved this series and after reading Jason’s book I could not wait to read Walkers! I absolutely loved this series from when some of the guys were at Brentwood to new friendships in the majors. I think it was such an awesome way to do this series and not only giving up the Bobbie’s but the Rebels too! This series dynamic was so much fun!

Walker is the grump/most hated player on the major’s good boy roster! Kate is the hard working media guru sent in to clean up Walkers reputation. The two are complete opposites with some hot AF chemistry! One thing leads to another and you have yourself a steamy forbidden/workplace romance!

I loved Walker and Kate, they were easy to relate to and so much fun to read about. As always Meghan delivers us a swoon worthy read!

I’m in love.... again. I’m not sure how Meghan does it, but I fall for every single one of her main men. I’m not even a little sorry, not when they are such sexy specimen. Gah, Walker was all types of dreamy.

“ “Kate, you just destroyed me.” And I loved every fucking minute of it.”

Kate was a bossbabe. She didn't put up with Walker's antics, his attitude. Her softness and compassion was exactly what he needed to compliment his brash and harsh exterior - but that’s exactly where it ended though - everything else was simply glorious.

Walker—he was so much more than I expected. Soft and sweet, loyal and loving. He was a genuinely nice guy, he just didn't advertise it like everyone else.

This book, it was so delicious.
The sexual tension, the build-up, and want, was INTENSE.

The restraint they showed, when they knew they shouldn't be crossing "the line", was incredible.
The way they grew closer and teased the line, flirted and pushed each other to breaking point was hella hot.
I don't think I've wanted two people to get it on so bad in a book EVER.

When they finally did break, OMG.... perfection.

Then came the inevitable challenges, their roadblocks (so to speak). It wasn’t pretty. I’m pretty certain my happiness died a little right alongside theirs. Needless to say, it was rough.

That’s all I’m going to say about that bit because I want to leave some mystery to this story.

I loved the little bits that were snuck in about Roark and Sutton.
And Penn? Well, I’m looking forward to reading his story.

Jason and Vanessa did a stellar job with narration.

This is Walker and Kate's story, the most hated baseball player and the team event coordinator having to help clean up his image, their chemistry is off the charts, they don't deny their attraction, but working together makes the forbidden romance much sweeter to read, all the tension and angst building from it, then comes their banter which is fantastic, I laughed a lot and the sexy talk is one that I really enjoyed in this book. The series is very good if you love sports romances. The audiobook is narrated by the talented Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin, you can't go wrong with Jason Clarke ever. He has a voice that will hook you from the start. They both did brilliant work, I suggest you get the audible version and enjoy this story.

Another success from the towel brigade. Meghan Quinn is my absolute favorite author and the Brentwood series is my favorite series of hers. I loved walker and to see and hear about some of our other old Brentwood boys and Roark! Walker and Kates chemistry was off the charts. I also loved how they touched on the grief and penns redemption! Can’t wait to see who the newest addition to the towel brigade will be!

So… Idk what to rate this, liked the relationship, as a non-us american I have no clue about baseball so idk why I even picked this up

Walker and Kate made me swoon and cry and laugh and want to punch something, this story had all the feels. A very well written story
