I totally loved Walker!
He is a sexy, angsty, grumpy book boyfriend I fell hard for!
This book is all the angst and then some! I loved it all!
I was totally for Walker & Kate hooking up even though it is forbidden. Their story made it that much more exciting to read because we all love those forbidden romances filled with hidden secret hookups and wanting each other soo much that the risk of being caught is worth it.
Go grab this must read book!

I don’t want to give away any spoilers but I gasped at on point near the final climax of drama that separated the couple before the happy ending where they work things out.

This was a steamy read even though there weren’t many sex scenes. At one point, since they’re not allowed to be together but the tension was so high, they were in his bed and allowing them 5 seconds at a time to touch each other. He kissed her for the first time and because of that final 5 seconds, both of them came. It. Was. Hot.

Not bad. Mhmm not bad at all.

Definitely better than the last book I read from this author!

I liked this one but Megan did what she always does and started strong and hooked me, just to piss me off in the third act. Kate is best friends with his arch enemy, the man he feels crushed his life, and she doesn’t say anything? What a b$tch move! Especially since the majority of the book is about trying to get Walker to open up. So he finally spills his heart out to her and she says nothing!? And then when he has to find out by surprise SHE’S MAD AT HIM?? Are you kidding me? Ugh, MQ took a character I liked well enough (Kate) and turned her into one I didn’t think deserved Walker. I mean she practically picked Penn over him when she defended him. I pretty much hated her after that.
And also, I got sick to death of hearing Kate complain about being torn apart cause they couldn’t be together. Literally the whole book she cries and aches from sadness. WELL THEN GET A NEW JOB!! Bam, problem fixed. She apparently didn’t want him as bad as she said.
