This is my new all time favorite book of the Brentwood Boys series and Walker is my favorite guy! This book is SO GOOD. Walker and Kate are the sweetest. I could rave about it for hours, but instead I’ll end this review by screaming at everyone to GO READ THIS BOOK RIGHT NOW!

This was a fun quick read. Walker is grumpy and broody and kind of a loner. Kate is one of the PR people for Walker's team, she is tasked with improving his image. She make it her mission to get to know him to be able to work with him. But as she gets to know him, she realized there is so much more to walker.

I liked the forbidden aspect of the romance. I liked the opposites attract aspect of Kate and Walker. I loved the baseball backdrop of the story. I liked that there was so much more to Walker and his reasons for the way he was.

Overall it was a good romance story.

The Perfect Catch is different. Very much different from Miss Quinn's sport romance. It has more vulnerable/ tender moments. And that is just what I like it.

I do like Walker. A brooding, closed off, rude giant who has a very very tender and loving heart. I like how Kate brings the sweetness of him to the light. I like how Walker slowly opens up to her. They both perfect for each other. So much perfect.

This is a wonderful read.

Meghan Quinn and I are both big baseball fans, and her baseball romance novels are in the drop-everything-and-read category for me. Walker is the most alpha out of all her baseball guys so far, and I'm HERE FOR IT. Walker's a bit of a grump, and our heroine Kate is totally sunshine and their forbidden workplace romance has mega chemistry. The five second game? Swoon. Quinn knows her baseball and it makes for such a fantastic reading experience.

This book could’ve been 100 pages shorter and better for it.

Whew, this book was a little roller coaster for me. Deals with real topics like alcoholism, sibling death, grief, and others. The spice was great, those teasing scenes were to die for! Great book for anyone looking for a spicy baseball romance.
