Walker! I think this was one of my favorite books out of The Towel Brigade series! Walker was the perfect grumpy tortured man with the most ooey gooey center and I was HERE FOR IT!
Kate was strong and confident and didn’t take anyones shit especially Walkers!
But man that PINNING!!!!! I was fucking swoony so hard in this book! The touches! And that fucking dining room table snack session!

I loved the tension between Kate and Walker!
Great read!
Great read!
Well ladies and gentlemen Meghan Quinn has done something that I didn’t think was possible, but she shocked me! There I was reading and loving this story as I do all of the Locker Room Boys stories and BAM ! Straight out of left field... well actually not really left field but anyway, she got me!!
I have a love/hate relationship with Meghan Quinn, I LOVE her writing, her stories are so engaging and her characters are always more than what you think, but I HATE that I read them so quickly and then they are over. I tried to savor this one, but to no avail I devoured the words and didn’t want to leave the world of the Chicago Bobbies!!
Walker and Kate are amazing, I loved being able to experience their story.
As with all Meghan Quinn stories, you get emotionally charged scenes, steamy blushworthy scenes and genuine character relationship scenes that have nothing to do with the H&h relationship. You get to see the bonds between the teammates and co-workers too. Kate’s friendship with Vivian, and Walker’s with Ryot make this story even more enjoyable.
This is a part of a interconnected series of books and characters but it can totally be read as a stand alone. Just whatever you do, read it! It is just that good!

Loved this storyline. The way this author portrays the male minds never ceases to amaze me. It is without spot on every time.
This story made me laugh, get angry, and smile with hope for our main characters. Got all in my feelings.
Another fantastic crew of characters who drew my brain into their world. The sports world, the highest highs and lowest lows of the greatest game and the lives of those involved. It felt real. It was believable and it sucked me in. I cannot wait for more like this.

This is Walker and Kate's story, the most hated baseball player and the team event coordinator having to help clean up his image, their chemistry is off the charts, they don't deny their attraction, but working together makes the forbidden romance much sweeter to read, all the tension and angst building from it, then comes their banter which is fantastic, I laughed a lot and the sexy talk is one that I really enjoyed in this book. The series is very good if you love sports romances. The audiobook is narrated by the talented Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin, you can't go wrong with Jason Clarke ever. He has a voice that will hook you from the start. They both did brilliant work, I suggest you get the audible version and enjoy this story.
