5 stars for The Perfect Catch by Meghan Quinn. I received an ARC of this book in exchange of an honest review.. All opinions stated are my own. Walker was a big surprise for me, I was not expecting for him to be a sweet and caring as he was. I was instantly in love with him. I am shocked to say it, but Walker might just be my favorite man in the towel brigade. Kate was a full-on boss. The sexual tension between these two was jumping off the pages. I was shocked how long they held out. But let me tell you be ready for the explosions when they finally give in. These two are so hot for each other. I loved every second of this book. “She makes me a better person. She understands me. And she sees me.” Meghan Quinn has another hit on her hands with these two. There were all the best parts that we all love in a story: drama, sexy times, laugh out loud moments, and all the feels. I am telling you this is a must read.

4.5 Sweet & Swoony Stars!
I loved this sweet and steamy forbidden sports romance! Walker is a broody, misunderstood professional baseball player who is the most hated member of the team. Kate is one of the teams newest PR Managers and it's her job to turn his image around. She is smart, clever and determined to prove herself. She meets with Walker and he is closed off and grumpy. But she finds away to get past his defenses and they begin to have fun together building on the attraction they had from the beginning. They begin a secret passionate affair when they can't deny their fiery desire for each other. They try to keep it a secret because of the teams firm no fraternization policy. Walker is afraid Kate will lose her dream job if they are discovered. But Kate has a secret that could destroy them first. I absolutely adored both Walker & Kate. She is funny, caring, and confident and is so perfect for the grumpy, sexy Walker with a heart of gold.

Narrators Jason Clarke, and Vanessa Edwin were spectacular at bringing this story and characters to life. Their easy delivery and inflections make me feel like I am right there with them, getting totally lost in the realism of their storytelling. They really brought out the push/pull between both Walker and Kate, and allowed us to experience their strengths and vulnerabilities, and their sexual tension was palpable! They made this fun, heartfelt, and sizzling story even better.

Audible listen with Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin

These books are completely entertaining. This wasn’t my favorite but it was still high on this series.

Jason Clarke was on point, Vanessa Edwin sounded a little too young but it didn’t take away from the story. All around solid book!

Audiobook Review: The Perfect Catch by Meghan Quinn, Narrated by Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin

Quinn makes it hard not to fall for her characters. Never quite perfect, they never cease to be irresistible. Kate and Walker are no exception. Clarke and Edwin take lovable to new heights with the personality that they bring to Walker and Kate. Whether laughing your head off or crying your heart out, Quinn and company make The Perfect Catch an enjoyable journey of heartwarming temptation that I will happily revisit again.

This book was a slow burn. So much tension and waiting. When it finally happened I was kind of left down by what could’ve been. Then the classic we can be together and happily ever after. It was a good book but idk I will be reading any other in the series.

Meghan and these baseball boys -- whoo! They're better with each new book.

This one focuses on Walker, the catcher for the Bobbies. After an incident with the water cooler, he's assigned an PR rep to clean up his image. Enter Kate - she is there to do her job, and not much else. She knows there's a "no fraternization" policy with the boys on the team, and she's not interested. Until she is.

Walker appreciates that she's not going to put up with his BS, she feels free to insult him, call him out, and basically do what she's hired to do - make him likeable. The problem is that he starts to also like her. Too much.

These two dance around each other, all while interacting with her friend Dan, Walker's nemesis the pitcher on the team, and his agent Roarke.

Another home-run by Meghan. The Perfect Catch is one not to be missed.

At the beginning I had trouble getting into this story. I  found a lot of the main characters behavior to be a little adolescent. I just didn't feel like adults would put themselves into these situations. And I really didn't see the chemistry between them.
But the relationship between Kate and Walker definitely grew on me a bit as the story progressed. But I do wish Kate had been more honest with Walker. I completely understood his anger with her near the end .
I found the storyline between Walker and Penn really intriguing. It was the more interesting relationship for me in this book. I was completely invested in knowing the history of that. I liked knowing about the connection with Dawn, for both of them.
I really enjoyed the small twist near the end of the book. I definitely wasn't expecting it. It caught me by complete surprise.
I was disappointed that we didn't get to see Walker make amends with the Veteran he accidently insulted. It would have been a great moment to see Walker's softer side
Overall this was an easy low angst read. Not too heavy. Just sweet and light.
And the narration from Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin really helped to elevate this story for me.
