The best yet

After each Meghan Quinn book I declare “this was her best book yet” and predictably I’m gonna say it again. This book is the best one she’s published. Talk about angst, hot sexy times, and broken hearts. Oh and baseball. Walker is imperfectly perfect for a baseball grump and Kate has such an engaging spirit. As they walk the line of the “no fraternizing with the players” rule, they have perfect amount of sexy tension. Great book!!!!

This is one of the best books Meghan Quinn has ever written, and I thought I loved the Getting Lucky series best.

Walker is the catcher for the Chicago Bobbies, and Kate is the new PR Manager in charge of cleaning up his angry image. The Bobbies have a no fraternization policy, but once Kate breaks down Walker's barriers they find they're meant for each other. But they're off-limits, and losing their jobs isn't an option for either of them.

This is a slow burn romance that is incredibly hot. There's a twist that I didn't see coming, and a tie-in to another book. I did predict the resolution, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the book.

I suspect that Penn Cutler will be getting his own book.
