Uma leitura intrigante que me agarrou às páginas o suficiente para aproveitar todos os tempos "mortos".
Suspense, mistério, dúvida, loucura, sombra, raiva, choque... Toda uma panóplia de emoções capaz de mexer com o nosso interior apenas com palavras escritas no papel.
Não pude deixar de exclamar um "oh..." na última linha. Queria mais!
A escrita do autor consegue transportar-nos para uma Barcelona escura e cheia de recantos para actos maliciosos.
Neste livro (assim como no anterior) temos uma mistura de géneros literários num só e surpreendentemente, apesar de as histórias terem personagens principais completamente distintas, gostei de ler sobre personagens do livro anterior... Como se nos fosse permitida uma nova oportunidade de conhecer melhor os intervenientes do "A Sombra do Vento".
É portanto uma boa aposta para quem não se deixa levar por meros títulos recambolescos cujas capas nos deixam descortinar imediatamente o final. (Livros esses que confesso gostar...)

I enjoyably got lost in the atmosphere, the characters and the twisty noir tale. There are more questions than answers at the end at the book, and when I first finished the book, I decided I had no clue what happened in the book, confused by the ending. The more I thought about it, the more I realized this actually wasn't the case, and have a stack of interesting theories to muse about, which I think is a good thing.
Would I recommend the book? It depends. If you watched the TV series Lost, and enjoyed the journey no matter how it ended, then definitely take a chance on The Angel's Game. If you watched Lost, hated the ending, and therefore thought you wasted your time with the whole series, then definitely don't read this book.
