Very, very close to a 5 star read! I loved the way this book was written. Em and Jace found love at a young age and when Em finds out he wrote a book about her, she is at first furious. Em begins picking up the pieces of her past and present.

Loved the characters, the story was sweet, but the ending kinda fell flat.

Juvenile and surface-level writing. No depth to any of the characters. Plot and character decisions were reaching and left me feeling annoyed during most of the book.

Read this during pandemic. I had a good cry. I wasn’t using Goodreads then but somehow stumbled this amazing book and haven’t forgotten since.

All the stars! ALL THE STARS! This book get ALL the stars! Wow, this was a story of epic proportions! So much tragedy and time loss.. true love and absolute devotion. A hero worthy of that title. This author is so clever. Her writing is a pleasure to read, her story is beautiful. This is one of the best books I’ve ever experienced. I so very highly recommend this unforgettable journey.
